Thrifty Finds: Weekend Estate Sale!

It has been quite a week and weekend around here, and I am just now getting around to posting pictures of my Saturday morning Estate Sale finds... sorry!

Here they are!

I love this guy!
Anything owls is hot right now, and this little trivet I picked up for $0.50 is no exception!

I just can't seem to get enough of vintage linen dishtowels, aprons, tablecloths, etc.
This one has bold colors and I love the butterflies!

Another vintage linen dishtowel with a great Paris scene.

I loved the bold graphics on this vintage valance. Check out my close ups...
Green is one of my favorite colors and I have always been a sucker for green and blue together!

I have seen so many awesome shows on Food Network that require a roaster with a lid. Now I have one. It also reminds me of my grandmother and tearing up bread for stuffing the night before Thanksgiving. We would always put it in the roaster lid. So glad I picked this up!

The copper pot in the back is a piece I am super excited about too. I haven't yet decided exactly what I'm going to do with this yet, but once it's polished up, it will probably hold firewood next to the fireplace. It may hold some magazines though, or even some shoes by the back door. I can't wait!

And the crowning glory of the day...

I am thrilled with this as an office chair!

I first saw a chair just like this at Sweet Something Designs.
If you haven't seen her blog, you are missing out!!! She is also using her caned barrell back chair for a desk, and I love the houndstooth she is using to cover it. For now, I'm giong to leave mine as is until I find the perfect fabric for it. I can't wait to show it to you with my skirted desk.
(Desk inspiration here.)

Have you ever been to an Estate Sale? What have your thrifty finds been lately?

Alison, thank you for the link! I can't get over how similar our chairs are! I actually don't mind the fabric on yours, mine is a bad orange (and I like orange!)
Love all your other thrifty finds too!

Alison, where do you find out about estate sales here? I would love to go to some but don't really know where to find out about them.
