I have read a lot about blogging conferences in the past and this one is in Atlanta next summer! (Super close for me, but still a hotel stay) Should I go? It's $89/day for the conference and then the hotel cost on top of that...
Here are the concerns:
1. I can be a rainy day blogger... I can get caught up in my volunteering, kids school activities, church events, etc. and blogging started as a hobby, so that takes last on the priority list.
2. I haven't made a single dime off of this blog as of now and it's been about a year. I also haven't tried to make any money from it, and I would like to.
3. I'm not as tech savvy as I'd like to think I am.
So, the questions to you are:
Have you ever been to a blog conference?
Did it pay off? (Meaning, was it just fun, or did you make that money back from your blog?)
Should I go? :)
