Ok, so I've been doing ALOT of thrifting lately! It's much fun, and I really love the "hunt". As I scroll through design websites and thumb through decor magazines and drool, I can't help but get all kinds of ideas and inspiration starts bouncing around in my head, and I wanna make some changes, like NOW.

So, I was out scouting today and the place I had planned on visiting had closed! BOO! (Of course I had already parked next to the building, got the little monster out of his seat in 26 degree weather and whipping winds, only to walk down the sidewalk and see it empty. NICE) So, I thought I would just drive around and maybe the GPS gods would smile on me and I would discover a fabulous new bargain hunting spot. Ha. What was I thinking? Seriously? When does that ever happen?

Yup, you guessed it. It didn't. Well, not exactly. After about 30 minutes of driving all over places in Columbus I never knew existed and am sure I will NEVER return to, I decided to hit up an old faithful so that my morning was not a total waste of gas and time. You'll remember The Attic from this post. So I headed that way and wasn't disappointed. I found a finial I couldn't live without:

And a great footed hurricane that was half price! Score! Too bad when I got home I transferred the bag with the finial in it over to the hand that had the bag with the hurricane in it and smash! In the cold I guess it was just to fragile. AAARRGGHHH! I was major disappointed, and then just had to remind myself, hey, it's only stuff. still. I wasn't too happy.

Ok, so onto the best part of the day! As I was leaving The Attic I looked across the street and saw this little gem!

So, I ventured inside, and, although small, the owner was amazing, and I found some FAH.BU.LOUS stuff! Tina Rexach is the woman behind Crazy Daizy and she is so awesome about making deals and helping you to find what you're looking for! Ok, ok, I won't keep you waiting, check out what I found!

Cute, unfinished wine rack with removable X inserts. No visual inspiration for this one, however I'm thinking turn it 90 degrees, add some feet (purchased at HD or Lowes) and call it a sofa table - genius!

Tina made this! A fellow crafter! A candlestick and a birdhouse, too cute...  And she has a few!

 Cute little birdies (she let me in on the little secret that she found them at the Dollar store - he he!) They work great for display with the birdhouses.

Vintage suitcases that I would have snatched in a heartbeat, but alas, they were not for sale!

Artichoke tealight holders - tagged at $5 for the set of 3, I got em for $2 for the set! Score!

A few jewelry pieces I picked up... again, marked for between $5 and $6 each, I got all three for $5! I love a bargain!

There was so much cute stuff, I could have bought it all! But I held back... now I'm asking why!?!?! But I'll be back again! Oh, and P.S. she buys stuff too, so when you are doing your decrapifying, take the cute stuff over there, and see if she'll give you a lil extra spending money for it!
